8/21/26 | 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM with breaks
$300.00
Workshop Overview:
"Images That Communicate"
Navigate the non-verbal dialogue between client, image, and therapist.
Establish a container for clinical presence and non-judgmental observation.
Experience how client projection works to monitor their countertransference actively.
Move past the "thinking mind" to give the physiological body a distinct visual voice.
Learn to observe that anger and withdrawal are not behaviors; they are physiological survival states
trying to communicate.
Review anonymous client artwork samples in group analysis instead of assigning a diagnostic meaning to
formal elements of art.
Become grounded in the neurobiology of trauma; externalizing internal physiological states onto a physical gallery platform prevents "flooding" and creates safe, visual containment.
Move clients from hyper-arousal to hypo-arousal with contrasting kinetic resistance from art materials.
