ICONIC: THE KATY RICE DRYERS BY PAOLA ISOLA

This photography exhibition is part of FOTOFEST 2020.

Paola Isola lives in West Houston and is a native of Peru. Isola studied photography at the Art Institute of Houston and travels the world for her photography. She was commissioned by Art Museum TX to build a collection of photographs of the historic and deteriorating Katy, TX Rice Dryers (silos). Her images give a striking contrast between the concrete, metal, shadows, the bright Texas sky, and details Isola chose to bring into focus.
